Where are the speed and altitude controls?!?!?

There is no doubt this is the most realistic air traffic contoller on the app store. I found it a little slow at first as there is a learning curve to it, but once you get the hang of it you will no doubt enjoy this. The other atc games are as fun but this game brings more control of each aircraft. That extra control brings this app out on top of the others for realism. You have full control of the map with zoom and pan. It would be nice to have a little more detail on the maps and to have night or day light setting. Overal Im happy with the purchase.

Some suggestions, be able to remove the scenario white text at the top as its kind of annoying (not the aircraft info) and allow for there to just be a survival mode or something just from the get-go instead of having to do all the previous missions first. Also some more sound effects would be nice. Overall great app and exactly what I was looking for.

You can not control the speed on iphone 6 and ipad

Ive searched many of ATC Sim on itunes and found this is the best one on itunes at the time.

I think the game is really good, and really addicting. The idea behind it is excellent and it is truly realistic. A couple things that would be awesome to see is more airports, a more realistic sound, the Microsoft sounds dont really sound good with the game. Adding something like "roger" or "cleared to land" or "released to the North" would help figure out if we accidently unselected an aircraft rather then give them that command we wanted to hive them. The game is good, just keep improving it and people will be willing to pay more than $1.99 for it.

A lot of fun and its challenging as well. Would rate 5 stars if it had more airports. I would love to see JFK, LAX, ATL and DFW. Would also be fun to have aircraft type on the flight information tag on the planes.

I love this game. Having control over speed, heading, and altitude make this a realistic and challenging game. You wont be able to put it down! After having played the game now for a month or so I have two tweeks for the programmers: Dont have the inbound jets enter at 500 kias, if you miss the arrival sound or have sounds turned off they are on top or past the airport before you realize it; and have the inbound aircraft enter at altitutudes of 500 ft increments, ie 2500. I have had several games end where my outbound plane ran into a co-altitude inbound that I had no idea was entering. Still a sweet game that I constantly play.

Its confusing. Granted, Ive only played it once. Will change review later.

Please add new challenges and airports!!!

Like the new update! Glad to see more maps. Dtw/yip difficult especially since YIP runways are so small. The flight info is a nice addition, but it can really clog the screen when things get busy, especially on the ground. Keep the updates coming, JFK/LGA, ORD/MDW.

Glad there is the new update out. Could you guys do like the San Francisco bay area, with SFO, OAK, SJC, SQL (general aviation), PAO (general aviation), and NUQ. That would be a great challenge level. Also, could you make it so the aircraft have to taxi to the terminal/parking area, and ask for stuff like permisson to cross runway ___.

Thanks for putting in the stop turn option. I think I would be nice if the runways were labeled with their respective headings and if needed L,C or R. Not needed, but more realistic. But a great app none the less. Much, much, much better than every other ATC app our there. Looking forward to more "levels" and airports! I hope you are planning on putting out updates for those things! This is my favorite entertainment app to date.

Good overall game play, much better than ATC 4.0. The issue I have is in order to see everything you have to zoom out, which makes everything very small, so it becomes difficult to manage. Second, create either all take offs or all landings, the screen is too small for both. Third, when lining up an aircraft to land on a particular runway, let it land on that runway, Ive had several situations in Dallas where you line up to land on say 35R, push land and it heads to 31L (noooo). I recommend this game, and no stupid sliders either.

What an addicting game. A lot of fun. It definitely gets better with each update A couple of things can get frustrating: 1) aircraft on one runway should not crash when an aircraft on a different runway is lining up (which is why I dont play DCA anymore) 2) not knowing what altitude aircraft are entering the airspace I would like to see new airports (LAX/SFO/ATL). It would also be nice to have a surface wind feature that limits runways for landings and take-off, to include having to use the reverse runways. It would also be nice to know which runway an aircraft is waiting for clearance at. Overall, it is a really fun, addicting, and realistic game

Only complaint is that there is no arrival handoff mechanism or list of arrivals... Perhaps the arrivals could enter between the departure slots?

Wk. 2 since the Cant-Select-Aircraft-Anymore update  Totally missing my awesome game. Hope youre making some good $ - pleased fan with every update here! Since latest update, cant select aircraft (in flight or awaiting clearance) with ease anymore. Good luck, Larry!

Updated: they just improved the game a bunch. Its easier to select aircraft and no more limit on "play until incident". You set the length if you game challenge. Good job developers! Still really want to see a couple new airports. LAX, Seatac, Kennedy. Please. Please. Please. No one ever puts anything from Seattle in games and seatac is awesome cause you can also add Boeing field to the map like in Detroit & YIP I have this and ATC 4.0, among others. Each have a different aspect that makes them fun. But this has taken me by storm. It looks and feels very realistic ( all things considered) I have had no issues selecting any aircraft, and not experienced any bugs. Complaining about the size of the planes is a silly irrelevant thing to gripe over. This is made exceedingly well for the intended devices. What do you expect, screen dominating close ups of aircraft? Huh? There is almost zero sound effects and it would be nice if there were more than just the warning beeps. Needs and endless mode, and more airports please please add Seatac, and LAX. That would be very cool. There is a learning curve to consider as you will be controlling speed, altitude, general heading for both take off and landings of multiple aircraft simultaneously. But dont worry about it. Youll catch on and the tutorial helps ease into things. All in all a very fun and well made ATC sim, probably the very best there is. I just cant put it down!!! If you have already tried other ATCs then dont hesitate and get this ASAP.
